For conservative treatment of hip osteoarthritis or after hip replacement surgery, a hip joint splint is applied to stabilize the joint in correct position. This is a very important during post operative period after hip joint endoprosthesis, since it is forbidden to cross your legs or do internal rotation of your thigh, because it increases the risk of dislocating the joint.
