This modern silicone protector for the deformed big toe is designed to reduce pain and discomfort caused by Hallux valgus. Hallux valgus is a deformity of the big toe, where a painful bony protrusion (exostosis) and corns may form. As the condition progresses, the pain increases, the toe shifts outward, and other toe joints may also deform. This protector covers the protruding bone, protecting it from friction and corns, thereby reducing pain and discomfort while preventing further deformity. The silicone protector is thin, making it comfortable to wear with any footwear.
