Strap for Hallux valgus correction

Hallux valgus, also known as a “bunion”, is a deformity in which the big toe deviates outward while the first metatarsal bone shifts inward. If left untreated, a bunion not only causes pain but can also, over time, deform the other toes and the entire foot.

This Hallux valgus correction strap gently realigns the big toe to its correct position. It is thin and takes up minimal space in footwear. It typically stays in place for 2–5 days, depending on footwear type and foot load, but it is recommended to replace it every 5 days. You can remove it at night and reapply it in the morning.

Suitable for both the left and right foot. Prolonged contact with warm and soapy water is not recommended.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE – HALLUX VALGUS STRAP

• Make sure your feet are clean and dry.
• Sit down and place the strap on a clean, hard surface with the brown fabric side facing down. Position your foot so that part D is in front, parts A and B are on the sides, and part C is on the inner side of your foot, facing you. Make sure the straps are not too long — trim them if necessary.
• Remove the backing film from parts A and B, then apply both parts around the metatarsal area, keeping part C on the inner side of the foot.
• Remove the backing film from part C and gently stretch it along the inner side of the foot toward the heel, then apply.
• Finally, remove the backing from part D. Realign your big toe to its correct position and wrap the strips around the toe in this corrected position.
• When applying, ensure the strap is not too tight. If the big toe joint is stiff, stretch only slightly to avoid discomfort or pain.

⚠️ Warning! For individuals with sensitive skin, local irritation, calluses, or increased sensitivity may occur. Do not use the strap on open wounds, rashes, or eczema.
